Asus has developed a Wi-Fi hard drive system and is expected to start shipping in May. These flying hard disks contain an 802.11g adaptor and antenna and pair of wired 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports. It is capable of holding any 2.5inch ATA-100 hard disk and is expected to cost about $150 (minus the hard drive).
