Remember how well your Windows XP ran on 256mb of ram? Well, Microsoft now claims that Longhorn will run ?fine? with 256MB, but 512MB or more will provide better performance (duh!). But I'm not sure what they mean by 'fine'.

Samsung has started shipping the worlds first Serial ATA II hard drives at a price of $93 for 80GB, $120 for 120GB and $150 for 160GB. These drives support speeds up to 3.0GB per second, which is twice as fast as current Serial ATA drives.

ATI has launched it's new integrated Direct9 chipset for PCIe notebooks, the Radeon Xpress 200M. The chipset runs DDR2 memory up to 667Mhz and supports Intel Celerons, P as well as Pentium M chips.
