The great motherboard manufacturer, Asus and monster microprocessor maker, Intel seem to have broken their partnership. Officials from both sides have not replied Xbit labs, but it looks like Asus is no longer listed as an Intel mainboard partner.

Asus to stop making Intel motherboards?

It's hard to tell from the story, but it seems the partnership seems to end for Intel-branded Asus motherboards and not for aftermarket Asus boards. Either way, this is a pretty big decision for Asus.
