Graphical Settings

Here are a couple screenshots of the settings we used for benchmarking. Major things to take note of is the vsync off, and PS2.0 being used. We wanted to stress the cards so all the filtering is set to Anisotropic.

Notice in this next screen that Scene Extra is unchecked. We ran into major performance problems with that and Depth of Field PS2.0 on so we decided to axe that branch completely. The performance problems were inherent with both the GF FX line as well as the Radeon series of cards. Pixel Shader 2 shadows would crash on GF FX based cards using the 52.16 series of drivers so that was axed also. The number of effects in reflections as well as the number of clip planes defaulted at 1 for both the 9600 and 5700 series of cards and as such, those settings were kept even for higher end cards.
